Multi-Tiered Screening Process

Our comprehensive screening starts in the au pair’s home country and goes through several levels of review, including individual screening, criminal background check, a well-recognized psychometric inventory (16PF), medical evaluation, and reference checks.

Au Pair Training Program

In addition to specialized training on topics like child development, cultural adaptation and DOS regulations, your au pair will complete online courses by the American Red Cross™ (child safety) and AAA™. The driving course was designed specifically for Au Pair in America® au pairs to help prepare them for driving in the US.

Au Pair Orientation

Your au pair will join us for a NYC Warm Welcome orientation to help them adjust to US life before joining your family. Plus, they’ll go on a fabulous city tour!

Ongoing Education
